As part of one of the major curriculum reforms under Uudam Mongol School's strategic plan for the 2026–2027 school year, the complete grades 1–12 content for the “Life Education” program is now ready.
The program includes 882 lessons across 8 strands for grades 1–12, 38 student and teacher books, teacher guidance for every lesson, and homework — a complete set of instructional materials.
The program covers 8 strands: financial literacy, psychological literacy, health literacy, communication skills, digital literacy, ethics, career planning, and civic engagement.
We don't believe giving children academic knowledge alone is enough. A student who knows themselves, can manage their emotions, has healthy habits, relates well to others, has a basic grasp of personal finance, acts responsibly online, makes ethical choices, and can think about their future career and life while engaging with their community — that, we believe, is one of the most important outcomes of education.
That's why we didn't build “Life Education” as a one-off course or program. We designed it as a comprehensive curriculum that follows each child from grade 1 through grade 12, deepening in content as they grow.
The same themes return across all 12 years, following a spiral approach that revisits and deepens each topic in step with a child's age and development.
No lesson ends in the classroom. Through teacher guidance, student assignments, and parent involvement, what's discussed at school is meant to continue at home, until it becomes part of a child's everyday habits.
This is one major step in the curriculum reform laid out in the school's strategic plan.
