A delegation from Japan's Aichi University of Education — led by Vice President Iwayama, together with teachers from Japanese middle and high schools and a fourth-year student training to become a teacher — visited Uudam Mongol School and carried out a two-day program.
The visitors sat in on classes in selected grades from 3rd through 11th, observing our teaching and learning activities firsthand.
Alongside this, they organized activities introducing students to traditional Japanese games and culture, as well as hands-on physics experiment lessons.
Our students were able to interact directly with Japanese teachers and future teachers still in training — working together, running experiments, and experiencing Japanese education and culture up close, right in their own classroom.
For our school, international engagement isn't just about signing agreements or exchanging visits. What matters most to us is that these connections actually reach into the classroom — giving children real opportunities to meet new people, encounter different cultures, learn in different ways, and see the world a little more broadly.
This two-day program was one such opportunity.
We extend our sincere thanks to the delegation from Aichi University of Education, and to the teachers and students who joined us, for sharing their knowledge and experience and organizing such engaging lessons and activities with our students over these two days.
We are confident that this continuing partnership will open up even more opportunities for teachers, students, and pupils to learn from one another.
