Uudam Mongol has a wonderful tradition: alumni who once sat in our classrooms and are now studying at universities in Japan sharing the path they took and the opportunities they found with the next generation of students.
One expression of this is a named scholarship organized by alumni — those who went on, through our school's transfer program, to study at a Japanese high school and then a Japanese university — for the benefit of younger students about to move up to grade 10.
The “ALUMNI-NAMED SCHOLARSHIP IN JAPAN” for the new 2026–2027 school year will be announced soon.
The selection process is open to students who have studied at Uudam Mongol School for two years and are moving up to grade 10 this fall, beginning their third year at the school. Two selected students will each receive a 50% tuition discount.
The value of this scholarship isn't really the tuition discount it offers — it lies in the fact that students who once sat at these same desks, carrying their own dreams, are now supporting the dreams of the next generation of students.
