At “Model COP17 – 2026: Youth Simulation,” an international youth summit held alongside the UN Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), the delegation from Uudam Mongol Eco Club was named among the top 100 participants, took part successfully, and received a certificate.

The summit wasn't only about discussion — it was a meaningful event in which young people carried their views to the level of decision-making, signing a “Commitment to Combat Desertification” in which they pledged to act as environmentally conscious citizens and make a real contribution against desertification and drought.

Participants committed to supporting international cooperation against land degradation and desertification, restoring ecosystems and promoting science-based solutions, and taking a leading role among young people in building an environmentally friendly, sustainable future.

We're grateful to the organizers for giving young people's voices a hearing on the international stage and a real opportunity to help protect our planet.
